Is it free to sign up?
Yes — creating an account and building a profile is free for everyone: professionals, clients and training providers. No card required. Free accounts can browse jobs and courses; upgrading to Pro unlocks full details, applying and messaging.
Why can't free accounts see contact details?
It protects our members. Keeping contact details behind membership means every approach happens on-platform, nobody can scrape your details, and everyone you deal with has committed to the marketplace. Pro members get full access, and identities are exchanged when a client shortlists a bid.
When is the client 5% fee charged?
Only when a hire is confirmed — when you and a professional agree to proceed. Posting jobs is free and unlimited, and if a listing doesn't lead to a hire you pay nothing at all.
How does the £30 course listing work?
One flat £30 fee per course, and the listing stays live until you take it down — there's no expiry. After 60 days we'll ask whether it's still active; if we don't hear back within 7 days it's archived, and you can restore it any time in one click at no extra cost.
How does anonymous bidding work?
Professionals submit bids with their proposed rate and availability, but their identity (name, profile) remains hidden from the client until the client chooses to shortlist them. This prevents bias and undercutting in the selection process.
Can I cancel my Pro membership?
Yes, any time — there's no contract or notice period. Your membership runs to the end of the billing month, then your account simply drops back to the free tier. Your profile and history are kept exactly as they were.
